Location: Chalbi desert North Eastern Kenya. Kalacha is 40 miles (aprox 64 km) to the Ethiopian border.

Access By Air: an hours’ flight by Private charter to North Eastern Kenya.

Description: Kalacha is situated in Chalbi Desert. The Camp sits on the edge of a permanent Oasis. It is built using local materials including dhom palms trunks for poles and leaves woven into mats for the roofs and walls. The mess area is circular in shape. The eating area had a kidney shaped swimming pool filled with spring water. There is no electricity, just kerosene lamps.

Accommodation: 4 Bandas (4 twins)
Each Banda has en-suite bathrooms and a verandah overlooking the oasis.
