Kristina has been leading incentive and group tours for several years, and has over 6 years experience working with Destination Kenya. Kristina has a deep and enthusiastic love of East Africa, and spends much of her time in the bush whether she is working with clients or on private safaris. Originally from Sweden, Kristina first moved to Kenya in 1972 and lived there for two years before travelling around the world with her husband. They eventually returned to Kenya in 1990, and have now settled in Nairobi.

Over the years Kristina has gained a reputation as an expert on African flora and fauna. Putting her knowledge and experience to the test, she joined the Kenya Professional Safari Guides Association and took the official examinations, which they introduced as a professional standard. Since joining she has attained the highest qualification level available and is now a full member of the KPSGA Committee.
